Welcoming, relaxed and inclusive, MSG Business Elevate is a networking organisation based in Middleton St George, Darlington, and open to attendees from all over the region.
Events
We currently run two regular events a month, plus some ad hoc.
Evening Elevate
This takes place one evening a month from 7pm 'til 8.30pm, usually at either the Community Centre or Cricket Club. Usually two speakers on a particular theme.
Business Breakfast
This takes place once a month from 8am 'til 9am, alternating between MJ's Cake Cafe and Caffé Italissimo. A chance to catch up and chat over breakfast to set ourselves up for the day.
Other events
We occasionally have daytime networking events or coworking sessions, as well as some mixers throughout the year.
Collaboration over competition
Putting unity into community
Every event uses a village-based or local venue so as to showcase their facilities, share revenue between them, and put back into our local economy.
Our Evening Elevate events also try to use a village-based or local business for refreshments when provided, and, where possible, a village-based or local speaker sharing their insights on a particular theme.
Welcoming attendees from outside Middleton St George, however, it's also important to grow our networks and relationships by learning from speakers outside the local area - so, we try to have two speakers per event, with complementing perspectives on the monthly topic.
